Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.

Thank you God for your word! With every day that passes, with every trial that I face your word continues to guide me, encourage me, and show me the love that you have for me. Many times the things that you call us to do are not easy and I see now that they are not meant to be. Just as the scripture says---for us to enjoy the glory of God we also have to partake of the sufferings as well. How can we really know Christ, follow Christ, if we never suffer? Sometimes when things happen, when people say hurtful things, when things don’t go the way I think they should, I can smile beneath the tears and know that I am doing something right---it is not a strange thing, it is a wonderful thing to know that this world is against me because I am for Christ.
Wow, God is so unbelievable! While I was writing this the following song came on. After listening to the song I read Romans 8, wow again! I serve such an unbelievably awesome God!
